Party leaders debate strategies

The Congress of Oaxaca was the scene of a confrontation among the new party leaders, with the Superior Chamber of the TEPJF ruling in favor of Morena in the dispute over a congressional seat. This event secured the legislative majority for Morena along with its allies and generated a first round of criticism among the party leaders.

In this context, the leader of Morena questioned the lack of dialogue from the leader of the blue party and challenged him to publicly debate the country's issues. For his part, the newly appointed leader of the questioned party denied arrogance and called for reflection.

The topic of national security and the fight against crime occupied part of the discussion, highlighting the need to maintain a respectful exchange of opinions. It was agreed to schedule periodic meetings to address these and other relevant issues for society.

The debate also extended to the inclusion of Rosario Piedra in the shortlist for the CNDH, generating controversy even among members of the Eureka Committee, which added tension to the dialogue among the different political actors. The discussion intensified by recalling recent cases of violence occurring in various parts of the country.

Amid these controversies, the need to work together to address current challenges and ensure the security and well-being of the citizenry was emphasized. Despite initial disagreements, future interactions among the different political parties are expected to favor dialogue and cooperation for the benefit of Mexican society.
